Hi mate,
Site looks well sorted esp the pics
Sorry to hear that Oulton was another DNF (must be a bogey track for you) after such a promising start! Couldn’t believe it when you came around in third or so.
See ya Friday mate.

Hi, I am looking for some advice if possible.
I have been running a 955i Daytona on local track days (Kyalami race track, Johannesburg) about once per month for the last couple of years. Apart from sprockets, the only real mod has been the brakes (EBC HH race pads and RBF600 fluid). These are now great, with plenty of power but above all, good ‘feel’ so that breaking is progressive with no surprises.
I have now bought a Daytona 675 and took it out to the track a few days ago; a fantastic bike! I realize everything changes and it takes time to get used to a new bike and its set-up; all settings are standard so far. The brakes are certainly powerful but it is like ‘turning a switch on and off’ with apparently little ‘feel’ as the braking pressure is increased. This is a bit unsettling.
Is this characteristic or do you think it’s my bad habits and I should work harder at getting used to sharper brakes? Before trying EBC’s (or similar) I was hoping for some comment.
Regards
